ComIT starts its Automated Testing course in Kitchener, Ontario

Studying a technical or professional career is, for many, an impossible dream to meet due to the high cost of education, a problem that we attempt to aim with the first cohort who started the Automated Testing Course, an initiative of ComIT along with Communitech, which began to be implemented in April 10th with 17 future IT professionals.

ComIT is currently performing a 3-month course in Kitchener, Ontario, and starting another one in June in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are expecting to extend our coverage to other cities during 2017 and 2018.

"We know how important it is to have young people trained to face better job opportunities, which is why we are pushing initiatives that deliver more and better tools for their development. With this, we are intervening the current student model, giving the possibility to people to build a better social and economic future for both them and their families", said Executive Director Pablo Listingart.

The courses are aimed at people who have completed high school and are unemployed at the time of enrollment. In that sense, Pablo Listingart, commented that, "In our five years in Argentina and Chile, the employability rate of our graduates is close to 65%, who work in various companies of the IT sector such as Google, Accenture or IBM, among others.
